Dünne Knochen – dicke Nase

Was hat denn bloß die dicke Nase, die man bei einer Erkältung hat, in der Überschrift verloren. Da war ja ein ganz großer Texter am Werk. Aber wenn die das wörtlich übersetzt haben wollen, dann ist's ja nicht weiter schwierig. Wie sagte eine Kollegin von mir so schön: Jeder kriegt die Übersetzung, die er verdient:-)))

Please see the below from our client:

The phrase „dünne knochen“ is supposed to refer to weak bones as you can find them in osteoporosis
The phrase „dicke Nase“ is supposed to refer to a congested nose as you can find it in a cold

In this case it is probably just easiest to translate "thin bones – thick nose“ as it is into french. They played with the words thin and thick at the convention, hence the saying.

Ich glaube, hier ist gemeint, dass man sich bei Osteoporose bei einem Sturz leicht die Knochen brechen kann, und wenn man stürzt, kann man eine dicke Nase bekommen... pfft... (Vitamin D und Kalzium ist gut für die Knochen...)
