• Translation Engineer with 7 years’ experience in Translation and Localization field. I started as a freelance translator in 2011, but quickly realised that my interest lies in Translation Technologies and have since gained extensive skills in the area.
• In my current role, I provide support throughout the whole translation process – from analysing client-submitted files for quotations to finalising and delivery of translated files. This involves closely working with clients and members of other departments – sales representatives, project managers, translators, proofreaders and DTP specialists.
• I have taken on multilingual and complex translation projects which required me to use a wide range of software including CAT tools, OCR and DTP apps.
• My experience taught me that attention to detail and meeting deadlines are crucial to the translation business. As a Translation Engineer, I always offer clients alternative language solutions and help them choose the most suitable one.
