I specialize in legal and medical translation from German to English as well as from most of the Nordic languages (Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish) to English. I also have some familiarity with Spanish, Danish and French.
Twenty years spent teaching Swedish and German (literature and language) as well as translation seminars (UCLA, U of Wisconsin, Yale University, U of Oregon) have prepared me for translation work that is accurate, well-informed and conscious of such issues as target orientation and usability.
