Cannot import/export MS Office docs on a new PC after DVX3 new installation

Hello,

I activated DVX on a new PC. Old PC is down.

However, I cannot import/export any file (especially MS Office).

DVX3 Pro 9.0.744
Windows 10 Family (version 1803)
MS Office 2016 (32 bit)

1. Check filter position. There was a problem (year ago) on localized Windows with their location, because Atril use accented characters in dir names. But there is no update from Atril, solving this issue.
2. With what filter did you export MSOffice files? MS Office live of MS WORD? Try old filter MS WORD - Some docs, not imported with live filter, imported with old MS WORD filter.
3. Ask Atril.

I tried with several filters, but none of them worked.

The problem is only with MS Word files, Excel and PowerPoint work.

I obviously also contacted Atril support and the Yahoo group.

Had the same problem Dec 25, 2018

Tried again a few times. Started working after a few days. I believe that Microsoft was messing with my Windows 10.

Another one idea — try to resave/reconvert (docx-doc(rtf)-docx) unimported files in previous version of Word.
May be MS have broken something in Word with latest updates.
Latest solution - import as xliff through other CAT.

... I also had problems with mainly importing MS Office files, but they disappeared after I have re-installed both DV X3 and MS Office. Perhaps you should first update to the newest version of Windows 10 (mine is version 1809), if possible.
