I wrote the request to above mentioned email account but I am still waiting. Maybe Monday.
(For access to eTranslation I got EULogin from automatic registration system (email post to comfirm email account). EULogin for all EC EU services switch me to eTranslation automaticly.)

The EU is now making the eTranslation automated translation tool, originally developed for its in-house translation services, available to the public free of charge and is promoting its use, particularly to institutions such as regional chambers of commerce and industry and their members, i.e. small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). However, from the point of view of the BDÜ, the the professional association of interpreters and translators in Germany, too much emphasis is placed on the question of costs and too little attention is paid to the real suitability of online services. Not only is the terminology used based on the very specific vocabulary and linguistic idiom of the EU institutions, which can only be adopted to a limited extent for other specialist areas; as a result, the EU tools may even cover more limited areas of application than the better-known basic services offered by DeepL or Google Translate. But other aspects such as data and information security and other serious shortcomings of machine translation systems are often difficult to classify and evaluate by users who are unfamiliar with the translation processes.
The BDÜ regional associations draw the attention of potential users to these dangers with regard to liability and loss of image, for example. As soon as it goes beyond the quick comprehension of a foreign-language text content or the writing of everyday e-mails, the use should be carefully considered. Business-critical or legally relevant translation projects such as technical documentation, contracts, marketing and press texts or website localisation belong in the hands of professional translators. Interested parties can obtain competent advice from the contact persons in the BDÜ member associations as well as from the language experts who can be found quickly via the association's online search.
