I was wondering if I could get some suggestions on well-functioning anti-virus software programs to install on my laptop (MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6) that would be appreciated by clients. Preferably I'd like one that is free for now, but in the future I might buy one, so suggestions for both options would be great. Since my laptop is somewhat old, it's also really important that the program works well on it and that it doesn't slow it down.

I'd love your feedback. Thank you!

You don't need any anti-virus software on your Mac. Your Mac already has the best antivirus system you could hope for.

I have been using Macs since 1995. I have never, ever, had a virus.
