The RTF preamble is 55 pages long... when I export the TM in .txt
I only want to know if this slows down the translation process and if I trim this preamble what can happen?
Thanks!

Irrelevant for Workbench operation

Hi Louise,
The export file is only used to exchange data - the internal indexing process within Workbench is different. Essentially, the length of the RTF Preamble is determined by the amount of styles and fonts you have on your system (IIRC...).
HTH, Ralf
