Hi!
I am working with Trados 6.5 in Windows 2000 and suprisingly, I cannot use the preview feature of Tageditor. Everything else work fine and there is no problem with the files as other colleagues can preview them. When I click on the preview tab, nothing happens.
Does anybody knows where that problem comes from?
Thanks for your suggestions!

Type of files

The source files are tageditor files (ttx).
About using IE to do the preview, that's what I'm doing now but that means cleaning up hundreds of files.

TTX is never the source format
May 11, 2004
Sorry, but...
The source files are tageditor files (ttx).
...TTX is never the source format, as TagEditor converts the various possible source formats (HTML/SGML/XML/DTP formats/PPT/XLS, etc.) into Trados' proprietary tagged format (called TradosTag=TTX).
To identify the problem with your preview function, it's essential to know the source format. In some cases, you see another file extension before .ttx, e.g. filename.ppt.ttx for a Powerpoint presentation converted to TTX. Anything there?
Best regards, Ralf

htm appears in the name, so I think the source files are htm.
