Building TM from two documents (the original and its translation)

Hello , I currently have two versions of the same document, the original in english and its translation in french. I would like to build up a TM from those two files. Do you have an idea of how I could do it ? Thank you very much for all you suggestions.

I guess almost all CAT Tools offer an align function. This is what you could use to create a TM out of the two documents.
What CAT do you use? *Ups* I see we are in TRados Support Sorry

The procedure to build a TM from two documents is called alignment. Most (all?) CAT tools have features for this purpose. And I think to remember there are some stand-alone tools as well.
Look alignment up in the reference material of your CAT.
If you do not have any, PlusTools (an "extension" to Wordfast) can do the job - it a freeware (Wordfast is not, but the free demo is enough for this purpo... See more
