Any reason why the "expand segment" feature won't work?
Scenario:
The Source file has been translated and the Expand Segment is invoked, but does not work. It does work before translation, though!

Uncheck "Segment unknown sentences" before translating the files.
It is not possible to join two (pre)translated segments. But you can still join them if you restore the source text of the second segment by using Alt+Del. (You can keep the translation of the segment you want to expand.)

Perhaps this is the subject matter of a new thread:
I am usually a very careful reader of documentation. Why is it that this solution cannot be obtained from reading the documentation? Did you find this out by trial-and-error? Or is it mentioned tucked away somewhere in the documentation? And why is there so many "undocumented" behavior in Trados features?
