When using TWB with Japanese to English, sometimes terms which I KNOW are in the glossary are not found automatically, or else something similar but different appears. Does any one else find this? What can be done about it

Which Trados version?
Sep 18, 2004
Hi Mary, Unfortunately, you didn't mention which versions of Trados you're using (please mention the full version number, including the build number).
Quoting your system details (operating system plus versions of all software applications involved) is essential in analysing any problem.
Thanks, Ralf

Hi again,

I'm afraid not. I specifically asked for the full version number because in this way we can ascertain whether you're working with an outdated version.
To find the full version number, go to Help - About....
Also, you didn't mention which version of MultiTerm you're using (same game - full version number, please).
Finally, which version of Office are you working on?
Sorry for being insistent here, but this is vital information for any support request.
Thanks, Ralf

Thanks, Mary, that's exactly what I was looking for.
Ok, let's check your terminology recognition settings: (in Workbench: Options - Terminology Recognition Options - Settings)
Have you tried reorganising the termbase (in MTiX: Termbase - Reorganise Termbase)?
Let's see...
