Trados: Aligning a text into a "forbidden" language - help!

Have I made a big mistake or can I get round it? I have just painstakingly aligned a Russian text in Trados 6, even though Russian is not one of the 5 languages I am allowed. So I chose to pretend it was English, and I thought that it would export OK from WinAlign. Think again, Anthony! The Cyrillic text is illegible in the export file (e.g. Âûáîð ïîäõîäÿùåãî èíñòðóìåíòà) and the "help" file is a bit of a misnomer. Does anyone have any ideas how I cou... See more
