Do you know if it is possible to highlight or add comments to text while translating in Tag Editor, for example in order to mark translated words that are uncertain or need further research?

Not possible...

Hi Elena and Pamela, I take it you're thinking along the lines of Word comments you can add while translating. I'm afraid this isn't possible in TagEditor - the most obvious reason being the multitude of file formats supported by TE.
A workaround is to add any comment to the TU, preferably marked by an easily recognisable 'tag' (such as [COMMENT]).

This is for your wish list, because I thing it would apply for what Elena needs. Wordfast has a provisional segment command. Whenever you're unsure and want to go back to that segment (and be reminded of it in case you forget) instead of the normal command to go to the next segment you mark it as provisional and continue with the rest. The TU is not saved in the TM and you can write whatever info you need to solve it later. Very handy indeed Cheers, Grace.
