Trados Error 29000

Hi, I am using Trados workbench 3.1 and Word 2000.
When i am opening a new segment it gives error no 29000 "couldnt initiate DDE link to multiterm.probably not running." i wonder why it is giving that error. I tried to make a new TM and check the languages but didnt help..Is there anyone knowing why it says this... Thanks.

Are you using MultiTerm alongside? If so, which version?

on some pages it gives that error on some pages it does not Oct 27, 2004

it may sound to you idiot but i dont know if i use multiterm. But what i know is sometimes do not give that error on the sentence just below the one it gave error for. I guess it is something related with the properties of the word document instead of trados. Thanks!

You cannot use term recognition if MultiTerm isn't active Oct 27, 2004

Er... is MultiTerm installed on your computer? If it is, did you start it? Sounds as if you're not using MultiTerm - in which case term recognition should be deactivated.

I guess it is something related with the properties of the word document instead of trados. Thanks!

I don't think so - can you please check if term recognition is activated (Options - Term Recognition)?
