Urgent : Bookmark Handler : this template doesn't exist

Word 2002

I want to prepare a doc with the Bookmark handler as usual (I've already done it many times without problems), but when I select "Bookmark handler" in the add-ins list, Word prompts me "This document template doesn't exist", although the "bookmark handler.dot" still appears in the templates directory, as usual.

What could have happened?
