Since having computer problems last week, I am unable to use Multiterm iX. The termbase I'd created from a MT 5.5 file had disappeared. I reconverted it and when I clicked on Create Termbase and selected the directory, a very small window opened with "Unknown error". So I uninstalled MT iX, downloaded the latest version 6.2.0.267 and reinstalled. No difference.
I am running Windows XP (but not SP2).

Look in Trados Support Feb 7, 2005

I had this problem recently, and reinstalled etc,as you have done. Finally I found the answer at
http://support.trados.com/view.asp?cntID=1385
Once I had fixed that, everything worked OK.

Thanks. Feb 7, 2005

Thank you very much, Peter.
I had to go through to the end and download the MDAC file but at least it's now up and running.
Best regards,
David Goward
