Seeing all the coding Feb 26, 2005

I think you are just seeing all the coding. To turn this off, click Tools -> Options -> View -> Fomatting marks and remove the check mark(s) from the All and/or Hidden text box(es).

Did you mean this?

Exactly Marijke!

Thank you. I wonder how this happened, anyway. I must have pressed a wrong key.

Trados does this Feb 26, 2005

It is to make sure we do not delete the coding by accident (in-built feature). Annoying though!

It's recommended to keep source & tags visible Feb 27, 2005

Hi Ivana,
The display is on purpose - as Marijke said, the idea is to prevent accidental damaging of tags.

Best regards,
Ralf

I always keep the tags invisible Feb 27, 2005

Ralf,

I usually don't make much translations with Trados, but when I do I never have it visible, that's why I found it strange.

Thank you anyway for your tips. It's quite confusing for me having both texts on the screen, so I will keep it this way and hope nothing wrong happens.

Regards,
Ivana
