Hi Trados experts
The client send me a text file called "TM Export". There are codes similar to html but related to Trados in the text file itself.
What do I do with this file? What is it for and how will it benefit the translation?
Kind regards
Eve

So what you need is to import this file to an existing TM. If you do not want to import it into an existing TM, you can create a new one and import there. Be aware, that the languages in the TM must match the languages in the export file (ie. EN_US and GE_GE or similar - take look at the language codes in the export file).
Regards Jerzy

Does the file have the txt extension?
Open Workbench. Open or create a memory. Select File -> Import. Make your choices (i.e. Small import file and Overwrite). Press OK. Look for your export file. Next, the txt file will be added to your memory and you can use it to translate.
Good luck!
