is there a way on studio 2019 to have the filtering constantly on screen - like studio 2011? how?

this is key for a smooth workflow with documents that contain a lot of terminology.

and - am i correct that the TMs from older versions are not compatible/interchangeable?

Perhaps a tip that might help Apr 1, 2019

I have only worked with Trados 2019, but if I understand correctly and what you would like is to constantly be able to search your TM(s), then you could just drag the Concordance Search window to whatever place is comfortable for you in the Editor view.

I often get project packages with huge TMs, so by using the Concordance search I rarely ever have to leave Trados.

Someone else should chime in on TM compatibility.

i don't need to search the TM, but filter the translation results.

2019 filtering exists, but is on the right side of the screen in a slide-in window. cumbersome, compared to 2011.

i tried to post a screenshot, but it seems this forum does not have that function. suggestion to proz!
