I have been trying to open an RTF file, which should contain a Trados job. Everytime I try to open it, I get a message that says the file can only be read. Then, when I try to access the file, my MS Word closes showing some error messages....
Anyone has a clue? Where should I open this file from? Not from Word?
THANKS!!!!

Maybe it is TRADOStag, not a real RTF

You can try to open it with TAG-Editor.
But if it does not work, than I have no clue why. The range of possiblities is quite wide. One of them is simply, that your file is damaged. If you received it via email or even in an archive, this may very be.
Try to get a new one.
