Use the rapir document function from the Trados menu Jan 22, 2003

If you have not yet managed to solve your problem with help from Guiliana, so you could try to use the rapair function from Trados menu.

Don't use the Trados repair macro without a copy of your file Jan 22, 2003

Hello,



sometimes the repair function destroyes winword files in such way, that the layout is completely destructed.



So make always a copy of your file.



Sometimes if you have problems with opening or closing of segments in Word, you can build a corrected word file by deleting the the whole Trados chars and deleting the 2 Trados bookmarks (tw4WinFrom and tw4WinUpto). Sometimes there is only one bookmark.
