fundamentally also in relation to the present purchaser Explanation: So much for an "answer" for your source phrase. Now to unravel the ball of wool. 1. The vendor is the developer has undertaken certain duties in relation to the town authorities (providing certain rooms and certain infrastructure facilities). This is laid down in the urban development contract with the town. 2. In relation to the plot that this contract relates to and the adjacent land (with the right to build an underground car park), the vendor now agrees to fulfil these very same duties in relation to the purchaser. In other words, the development permit from the town defined certain things that the developer has to build or supply. The purchaser now does not have to spell them out in words of one syllable, because the vendor is already bound by these duties. Does that cast light on the matter (to mix metaphors a little)? |
