Ich habe schon etwas gegoogelt und herausgefunden, dass es sich um elegante Schuhe handelt, bin mir aber nicht sicher, ob es im Deutschen dafür einen Fachbegriff gibt. Kennt sich jemand aus?

Vielen Dank, Ansgar. "Abendschuhe" passt in meinem Fall besser als "elegante Schuhe", weil sich die Übersetzung genau an Leute wendet, die auch tagsüber Abendgarderobe tragen...

agree  Irene Schlotter, Dipl.-Übers.: Du sprichst mir aus der Seele! Dasselbe gilt für 'dress pants'/'dress watch' etc.; es handelt sich um eher klassische Varianten, die sich auch für offizielle Anlässe eignen (lt. angelsächsischem Standard). Mit Abendgarderobe etc. hat das nichts zu tun.
