Asker: Hm. I see that the Planning and Building Act contains this translation. But don't you normally associate the term with corporate takeovers? In my context, I wonder whether it would be more correct to use "acceptance" or "final acceptance" - esp. when they use the term "overtakelsesprøver".

disagree  lingo_montreal: Takeover might be construed incorrectly - e.g., as in "hostile takeover". The process described here is the handing over of the finished product.
