"servicehus"*
Explanation:
This seems to be as difficult to translate as "qautsaulittuq"; I therefor suggest the use of the source language term in the English text and a hefty footnote, which could read:

*Apartment houses for the elderly with 24/7 availability of a municiplity paid registered nurse for the residents, with restaurant and other communal areas and with access to home-care services.

Tack Sven. At this point, that is my best bet. It's somewhere between assisted living and a nursing home.

disagree  Mel Willetts (X): in the UK, this implies that a person has been made homeless and is temporarily placed in emergency, "sheltered" housing/accommodation, or an emergency night shelter. That is not what "servicehus" means in Sweden.

agree  revshirls: Mel, I disagree with your comment. In the UK, sheltered housing/accomodation is very similar to the Swedish concept of servicehus. I think you are confusing "night shelters" (for the homeless) with sheltered housing.

senior housing/care home

Explanation:
Will venture in with this and povide the linkes below.
Seach 'eldercare' or 'eldercare + UK', if you want a course in current terminology.
While 'shelter housing' is used, it seems pretty specific, and gives much fewer hits than eldercare in the UK.
'Nough said for my sake...

agree  Paul Lambert: I like that answer, actually. It might not be a 100% equivalent concept, but it captures enough for the reader to get the right idea of the essentials.

disagree  Sven Petersson: It is a form of "senior housing", but the features of "servicehus" (see my answer) are not implicit in the term "senior housing". It's definitely not a "care home" (see sampat's definition).

If necessary it could be further clarified by saying "Serviced retirement apartments".
