Norwegian (Bokmal) term or phrase: Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Hedmark og Oppland...
I was just wondering if you leave the "og" in the place name, or if anyone feels it should be translated to "and".
I leave the og in place, but is that really correct?
You will find this not only in the counties, but also in such administrative agencies and bodies (Asker og Bærum).

You do NOT translate the "og" in any of these, except for Hedmark and Oppland, which are two separate counties.

This is not a matter of opinion, but a fact.

Not to say that every (or even any) websites listed in Google search results are necessarily an authority on anything, but they are pretty good indicators if there are enough of them which are consistent about something.
