Problemer med bæreevne ved hogst og utkjøring av tømmer er et temmelig aktuelt problem. Skog og landskap har ved fem drifter testet bruk av medbragte kjørelemmer, for å komme over bløte partier. Resultatene viser at dette fungerer bra, selv over bløte myrer. Men driftene bør være forholdsvis store og de kritiske partiene korte, om ikke kostnadene pr m3 skal bli altfor høye.

disagree  Lene Johansen: Ramps would imply inclines though, and lem is flat, like a board.

  -> Det har du naturligvis rett i, Lene, og jeg tenkte også litt på at det impliserer høydeforksjell. Likevel fant jeg ikke på noe bedre, men da er det jo bra at du bringer inn et godt alternativ!
