Damm, can't change the header. I meant to be creative enough to translate 'ferieår' into 'holiday qualifying year' instead of 'holiday year'. No big deal, but I just want to make clear that those two terms means the same in my answer.

agree  Leif Henriksen: On a side note, the source could have made things easier by using the correct term 'opptjeningsåret'. 'Ferieåret' is, opposed to how this source wrongly chooses to use it, the year in which the holiday is being taken.
