Swedish term or phrase: ta ut svängarna
I ett förtroendefullt partnerskap litar coach och klient på varandra och vågar ta ut svängarna.

Any improvement on '....to go the whole hog'?

go for it
Explanation:
Another suggestion.... or something in that style ...give it a little extra
Your talking about 'daring' to do more.

Will ask the Swedes here, but somehow I've gotten the impression this phrase derives from dancing, that is the old time folk dancing. You don't just strictly do the steps, but, when you're good at it you can give your partner an extra 'swing' and show a lttle flare. Sounds good, but I have no verification, just something I picked up...
