This text concerns the manufacturing preparations for an aircraft. The text earlier featured "detaljtillverkning", which I translated as "primary production" as per Engströms, but I am unsure about "detaljverkstad".

Here is the context:
"Inte minst när det gäller bemanning, då detaljverkstaden måste vara redo att ta vid när konstruktörerna är klara, samtidigt som det gäller att inte bemanna upp sig för mycket i förtid."

Will suggest this, since it seems your are involved with 'fabrication'. There are several possibilities, though including detail shop, fabrication detail shop, and similar.

Years ago I actually was a shop hand at a 'welding detail shop' (actually got one hit for this!). But that was 100 yrs ago and in the US...

Thing with 'detail' is you can get it confused with 'auto details' -- something different.
