Swedish term or phrase: få med på
Again, another really colloquial phrase which I need help with.

Here is the context: "Man kan lättare få med barnen på vad det är som gäller och inte gäller."

"Get the kids interested in..." perhaps?

Any suggestions warmly received!

get...to accept
Explanation:
I would say "get the children to accept," or something similar, especially since the reference is to rules ("vad det är som gäller och inte gäller").

In the end we went for "get them on board", i.e. to agree to an idea. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
