Bus/Financial - Insurance
Danish term or phrase: fordre
I understand this as "to exact" something. In this case, "to exact insurance coverage". What do you think?

Here's the context: "Ved anmeldelse forstås tilgang af information med mindst 8 dages varsel forinden det begærede arbejde fordres dækket af denne eller separat forsikring."

Thanks in advance.

demand or require
Explanation:
Depending on how you phrase it, demand or require might also fit.

´with at least 8 days´notice before cover is required for the requested work through this or a separate policy.´

Can probably be expressed more neatly, but something on those lines.
