Asker: Thanks, Charles. I tried searches with "armed calls" but found I got a lot more with "armed response", and "armed response team/unit" seems to be widely used. Thanks for putting me on the right track.

Asker: Apparently, "skarp oppdrag" need not necessarily involve armed weaponry. It may involve knives, etc. In such cases, "tactical missions/operations" might be suitable alternatives.
