Norwegian (Bokmal) term or phrase: bebyggbarhet
Eksempler:

Yes, the terms in Norwegian are used interchangeably. Both terms "byggbarhet" and "bebyggbarhet" will render the same translation.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks buchardt but I wonder if "buildability" is a translation of "byggbarhet" rather than "bebyggbarhet". The sentence in my text reads"Viktige forhold i verdigrunnlaget er størrelsen på utbyggingspotensialet, beliggenhet og bebyggbarhet. " From what I can see, "bebyggbarhet" has to do with the suitability of the plot for developement (soil quality, etc), whereas "buildability" seems to have more to do with actual buildings ""The extent to which the design of a building facilitates ease of construction as well as the extent to which the adoption of construction techniques and processes affects the productivity level of building works.").

Asker: After even more research I think you're right after all: "Buildable lands" means lands in urban and urbanizable areas that are suitable, available and necessary for residential uses. "Buildable lands" includes both vacant land and developed land likely to be redeveloped." I suspect the Norwegian terms are used interchangeably, though as a Norwegian colleague pointed out, they actually imply different things. Thanks again, and to Charles.
