From my reading of the rules, you can enter the pairing you want in the glossary while still awarding the appropriate number of points for the help you got. I've done this on several occasions as an asker in this circumstance.

Asker: Thanks Charles, but I now found "kerb" in the IAAF Track and Field Facilities Manual 2008 Edition .

Asker: Both your source and mine mention "rail" one single time, that's what made me sceptical. But now I dug a lottle more: " 3. curbing. Curbing provides a buffer between the running track and the surrounding area. It may be used on the outside perimeter of the track, the D-zone, or to edge asphalt event areas." " Det siste som kom på plass var sargen, en aluminiumslist som skiller grasmatta fra løpebanen. "

Asker: Thanks to my ever-helpful running mate :-) What do I do now... I'd really like to award you some points for all your help but at the same time change the term. Can I do that (I mean it's not against the rules, is it?)
