neutral  Roald Toskedal: I guess this isn't 'fish farming' per se, it is part of a cultivating programme for specific rivers/lakes, using the particular breed of fish from that river/lake, whereas fish farming entails breeding of fish from any genetic heritage.

Looked up a few possibilities and came across "fish hatchery" on Google. Then looked at the definition and it seems to fit (the document I'm working on which coincidentally contains the same word).
