ويجوز في كل من الحالات السابقة وكذلك في واجهات البناء المطلة على الطريق العام أو الخاص، عمل ارتدادات (داخلات, جيوب) بقصد إنارة وتهوية غرف معدة للسكنى أو لمرفق أخر من مرافق البناء إذا كانت مما لا يتيسر معه فتح نافذة لها على الطريق أو الفسحة، ويشترط في هذه الحالة أن لا يتجاوز عمق الارتداد ضعف أدنى عرضه، وأن تكون النافذة في الجانب المواجه للطريق أو الفناء مباشرة.
