(May) my father be strong/respected/honored Explanation: IF THIS WORD IS ARABIC (Not Berber) and if the syllable cut is correct (not الزبوياء، الزبوجى...إلخ): 'azz(a) = to be or become strong, powerful, respected...| to become mighty, respected, honored, be exalted...etc. abuja = 'j' usually stands for the ي like Joseph يوسف, Jugoslavia يوغسلافيا...etc. In some Arabic dialects this word will sound like أبُويَ abuya which means 'my father'.
