Arabic term or phrase: AZZABUJA
Azambuja is one of the most typical villages of Ribatejo. Located on the right edge of Tejo`s river, about 45 kms away from Lisbon. Its origins go far to the Romans time; it’s name by then was Oliastrum. Azambuja comes from the name adopted by the Arabs, Azzabuja.
Gustavo Azambuja
(May) my father be strong/respected/honored
Explanation:
IF THIS WORD IS ARABIC (Not Berber) and if the syllable cut is correct (not الزبوياء، الزبوجى...إلخ):

'azz(a) = to be or become strong, powerful, respected...| to become mighty, respected, honored, be exalted...etc.

abuja = 'j' usually stands for the ي like Joseph يوسف, Jugoslavia يوغسلافيا...etc. In some Arabic dialects this word will sound like
أبُويَ abuya which means 'my father'.

Good luck!

عز أبويا = my father's glory (Ezz aboya

Explanation:
If the "j" is pronounced "y" as is habitual in some European languanges, the Arabs mus have adopted the name "Ezz Aboya" عز أبويا that got transliterated Azzabuya.
