شمالي مصر Explanation: It's an Arabic grammar issue, rather than a translation issue. إن الشمال ومثله الجهات الأربع ينبغي أن تنسب عند الإضافة .. فقد قال أهل الفصاحة : شماليّ العراق .. I did come across that piece of information by those studying the Arabic language (قل ولا تقل), but at present, my search revealed this site only.
