The word تجليد should read تجنيد. The expression as it stands does not seem to make sense. |

Third Rasafa Military Conscription Dept. Explanation: Rasaf is the east bank of Baghdad as the Tigris divides Baghdad into two banks; west (Karkh) and east (Rasafa). All departments in Baghdad are divided into Rasafda or Karkh 1st (zone), 2nd , 3rd etc. including the military. As for teh colleague who said it is related to the education dept. Yes we have in Iraq, Rasafa 1, 2, 3, and 4th education dept and we had before (tajnid - military conscription from 1 to 8th Rasafa ) dept. By the way, there is no longer military conscription in Iraq. That is why you can not find any reference to it on the web. |
