Correct. Please check meaning no. 2 in the same dictionary.

2: to allow something bad to happen although you know about it.

EX: a) She had murdered or connived at the murder of one of her lovers.

b) He called for checks to discover whether corrupt officials are being bribed to connive in shoddy construction.

The word 'unsaid' means شيء يحدث أو يشعر به الأخرون ولكن لا أحد يعبر عنه كلاميا أو يتلفظ به.

Eventually, it is you who have a full and thorough understanding of the context in your hand. The final word is yours.

I believe Mr. Ghazal's answer is worth considering.

Asker: hi, connive is to plan secretly and dishonestly for sth to happen which will be to your advantage (Cambridge)

Asker: overlooked might work here, but what do you think if we used this word instead: THE UNSAID

Asker: Yes, true but the form you gave (winked at contradiction!) I am not sure that it is correct. wink at sth is to to pretend not to notice something bad that is happening because it is more convenient for you. Thanks

When you don't do or say anything about something happening, then you just allowed it, or at least tolerated it.

But, there is also "Blink at" or "Condone":

Asker: Hi , المسكوت عنه is not always tolerated or allowed, like (corruption, prostitution, Taboo issues) etc.

disagree  himbra: I would suggest "unspoken" or "unvoiced" as it suggests that it is understood with no need for words. The expression "blind eye" suggests that the issue is ignored and I do not think that's what you mean.

-> So, why didn't you put in your answer? Unspoken and unvoiced means expressed without speech. Nothing is expressed here. Please read my explanation above.
