agree  Dylan Edwards: The Bulgarian and Greek-Turkish lengths of this river are both called Maritsa in my Oxford-Hammond Concise Atlas./Quite right. In this atlas, the river is marked 'Maritsa' both inside and outside Bulgaria, but the Oxf.Dict. of the World gives 'Meriç' too.
