before reaching the KP/beyond the KP Explanation: PK = punto kilométrico = kilometre point/marker Hi! I'm translating a text about Civil Engineering esp. Roads and I don't know the translation for P.K (in Spanish: punto kilometrico) that referers to the different kilometric points measured with numbers in a road. Could I say K.P (kilometric point)? http://forum.wordreference.com/threads/pk-punto-kilométrico.... http://www.proz.com/kudoz/spanish_to_english/tech_engineerin... "Initially, transportation of natural gas for the liquefaction plant will be through the existing Pipeline Transportation System (PTS) up to kilometer post (kp) 211. From this point, a 408 km long pipeline will be constructed and operated by XXXX provide the required natural gas to the plant" http://www.proz.com/kudoz/english_to_spanish/petroleum_eng_s... I understand 'a menys' and 'a més' to mean 'less than (before reaching)' and 'more than (beyond)'. |
