'small bug', 'tiny bug', 'little rascal' Explanation: This term can have different meanings, dependent on the context. If the context is biological or animal related you would use the 'bug' translation. If the context is a familiar one, such as when you talk about a small child, you would use the 'rascal' translation. |

small pepper, small animal (bug, etc.) or affectionate term used to refer to children etc. Explanation: The word 'bitxo' can be used to refer to these red, hot, cayenne peppers (Capsicum frutescens - usually the dried version) or to small animals. It can also be used in an affectionate way when talking to/about a child, e.g.: 'És un bitxo!' Friends of mine - ornithologists - when out birdwatching often refer to the birds as 'bitxos' too! So, it's not only used when talking about insects. So, 'bitxito' would be a diminutive of the above. HTH Sheila bitxo:pebrot petit i molt picant. Sinònim també d'animal o insecte, ex:"Ai!
