Law/Patents - Law (general) / Police reports regarding a death
Catalan term or phrase: Persones encartades
In a police report by the Catalonian police, Mossos d'Esquadra referring to the deceased, his wife and a witness. I have translated it as "Parties involved". I am not sure what "encartades" means and it is not in any of the online dictionaries.

It is not people declaring as one of them is the deceased

Could it be "Parties that appear in this documentation"? Is there a better way to put it in legal English?

Thanks for you help

Persons named
Explanation:
It would be useful to see the complete sentence. "Encartades" covers a range of possibilities. There's already been a Proz question about this in Italian: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/catalan_to_italian/law_general/290...
I'd go for a fairly general expression like "persons named" unless you can definitely specify that it means "persons accused", "persons summoned", etc. HTH

Thanks for your reply Tony. There is no sentence. It is a title in a police report followed by a list of 3 people: the witness, the deceased and his wife
