Explanation:
I think your address is missing an "a" - Then this would be Abbot Almato Street. Strange that Almato was not in capital letters. I haven't got my Enciclopedia Catalana handy to see if such a personage is listed.

Bat is also a synonym of Baterell = A Place open to the elements. But I don't think that applies here. It has nothing to do with "Bat" the animal - which is a "rat penat" in Catalan.
