天下一色 杨贵妃 The first beauty in the whole world · Yang Guifei (the highest-ranking imperial concubine) Explanation: Yang is the surname. Guifei is a title. Her real name is Yang Yuhuan. She is a legendary lady in Chinese history. She was in Tang Dynasty, which is the most prosperous period of ancient China. There are lots of poems about her crafted in hundreds of years. It looks like an artwork (painting, epigraph?) dedicated to her from a highly prestigious poet or politician, praising her being the most beautiful woman in the world. In ancient China, it is a privilege to do so. Common people may get killed just for writing the ruler's names or using their names. There is a seal beside the epigraph. But too bad it is hard to read. |
