Chinese term or phrase: Kheng Hua
This is the name of a rare white flower with yellow stamens.
I'm not sure that my source English text uses a common transliteration rules for Chinese.

Could you please tell me its Latin botanical name? Or, maybe, there is a more widely-known name for the flower in English?

Please, give your explanations in English only! Thank you in advance!

Explanation:
This is a tough one. As you suspect, this is not a standard transliteration, but it corresponds to 'keng' in Pinyin ... for which I have been unable to find a flower name. Amzingly, there doesn't seem to be any plant with that pronunciation. Are you sure this is Chinese (not Cambodian, for example)? Any specific dialect? More context may help, and I hope someone can help you out!

Right ... I have an idea I\'ve seen this flower around here, but I can\'t remember what they call it. I\'ll ask my wife when she gets home!

Okay, in Mandarin it\'s called Tan Hua, and in Fujianese (Fukienese / Minnanyu) it\'s \'Keng Huei\' or Kheng Hua. It\'s called a night-flowering orchid cactus, Latin name Epiphyllum oxypetalum. This link tells you all this in CHinese; at least you should be able to read the English bits!
Hope the rest of your job goes well.
