I actually grew up in China and went to college in China myself, after seeing every one's discussion, I agree with GY Ren that this is one of the most confusing term to translate, Because actually in China there was a 技校 as well which is different from 中专. Luckily it turned out that I do not have to translate this term any more. So I am just going to close this discussion. Thanks for every one's input. I think it was very interesting discussion, but I am still not sure what should be the right answer, if I had to chose I think I would chose < technical school> for 技校, <secondary specialized school> for 中专, and 3 year system college for 大专 which is more equivalent to Associate Degree in US, not the Bachelor Degree. |
