a pair of braces

Explanation:
I think that might be a typo - it should be 副 ('a pair of') instead of 付

A pair (set) of braces (and etc)

Explanation:
"付" is a quantifier, which means "pair" or "set"; "支撑" is noun, which means something like bolster, brace, crutch, support, underlay, underpin, underprop and etc. You can translate it according to its context.
